The opening day of baseball took place on Monday and the Detroit Tigers won at home over Minnesota 4-0.  Detroit hit two homers and got great pitching from David Price and reliever Joe Nathan.  The Tigers are off today before getting back at it on Wednesday afternoon.

Also, it’s spring break and no local sporting events this week.  103.5 WAWL-LP will be back at it on Tuesday, April 14th as the Grand Haven High School baseball team hosts Traverse City at Bucs Stadium.  We’ll have it for you on 103.5 WAWL-LP!
